Ethical Sourcing
What is ethical sourcing? It isn’t just about a certification or seal that aligns a roaster to a particular sourcing scheme (although there is nothing intrinsically wrong with that) – it is also a commitment to ensure that coffee farmers and their workers are rewarded for their hard work and a responsibility towards the care of our planet. We use a variety of different routes to ensure Windmill Street Coffee is a responsible cup. We work closely with our green coffee partners, Sucafina, to make sure all members of the supply chain receive a fair wage and commitments to sustainability and the environment are rewarded. We are proud to have a company-wide focus on Impact, Sucafina’s new initiative that we think will set the benchmark for ethical sourcing for years to come.

Delivery
For London-based customers, we offer face-to-face service and for those located across the country, we provide an efficient courier service. We understand that receiving your orders in a timely manner is essential, which is why we are committed to delivering your products within 1-3 working days.
Coffee Roasting
Our coffee roasters take great care in the roasting process. They ensure that the beans are roasted at the perfect temperature and for the right amount of time. This process is crucial as it brings out the unique flavors of each bean, resulting in a cup of coffee that is rich, smooth, and full of character. Windmill Street Coffee specialises in providing wholesale coffee to restaurants, coffee shops, hotels, and offices - essentially anywhere that wants to serve high-quality coffee!
Sourcing
Windmill Street Coffee ethically sources coffee beans from farms and processing stations in well-known coffee-growing regions along "The Coffee Belt". Recent origins include Costa Rica, Brazil, Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, El Salvador and Tanzania. We carefully select the best we can find from current lots to create our blends and single origin offerings. Many of our coffees are IMPACT certified - ensuring they meet the highest standards of sustainability, ethical labour practices and environmental protection.
Barista Training
Barista training is key to our whole ethos. Our dedicated barista training team help customers get the very best from our beans and we never judge! We know the world of speciality coffee can, at times, be an intimidating place and so our training sessions are friendly, engaging and helpful. We lead trainees through every step of the coffee brewing process and take our time to make sure our knowledge is fully communicated and understood. What’s more, for wholesale customers buying our beans on an exclusive basis, training is provided free of charge.
